Thanks to Mimik Studios you can have a peak preview. There are still a few changes in the pipe line but we couldn’t wait any longer to share them with our Snowplanet family. For those who have seen the new wall décor I’m sure you’ll agree with us how great it is beginning to look!
The wall décor still has a way to go so we will continue working on this over the coming weeks and with the Southern lift remaining out of operation Monday – Friday until 2pm each day.
Ski Mat Replacement & Tubing Track Relocation
As part of our Winter Wonderland and Beginner Area experience we are replacing our 50m Ski Mat with a shiny new 70m Ski Mat. From today Monday 26th August the Ski Mat will be non-operational and fenced off until approximately Saturday 14th September. As you can appreciate this is a large job; we apologise for any disruption you may experience, we aim to have it completed as quickly as possible.
During this time, we will also have to move the Tubing Track. Therefore on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th August our Snow Tubing Track will not be available. Don’t worry though, from Wednesday 28th our Snow Tubing track will be available again as per normal minus the Ski Mat. Instead you’ll enjoy a leisurely stroll up the slope via a temporary snow-based walking track.
Those who are using the beginners’ area will also be able to enjoy a leisurely stroll up the slope via a temporary snow-based walking track.
If you have recently visited the 7Summits Restaurant & Bar in the last week you will have noticed an area cordoned off area where construction is taking place. This is an exciting project that we look forward to showcasing with you shortly. In the meantime we do apologise for the additional noise which is being created. We realise it is not ideal so we have provided disposable ear plugs available for all customers at the bar which you can help yourself to. Once again we apologise for any disruption or inconvenience.
