We want to ensure everyone who visits gets the best possible experience, so all future terrain park designs will now be communicated on our website to let you know the setup and give opportunity for feedback before they go live. Each park will have it’s own unique name and as time goes by we will invite you to offer your own designs and/ or names for new parks.
There will be a “Small” park on Thursday, which will turn into a “Super” park on Fridays and Saturdays*. On all other nights we will provide terraces/ rollers, plus a jump, to ensure adequate slope space (and terrain) to meet the demands of other clientele that visit at night.
*Saturday Terrain Parks may be “Small” parks depending on whether we are holding Race Events or not.

Charlie Francis held out some stiff competition at the South Island Champs last week to take home a bronze medal in the Giant Slalom! PLUS We had a great Talent ID Session with Snow Sports NZ. Coaches worked together to coach athletes while also challenging them to try tricks in new directions and with new grabs. Click to find out more.
Brad and Oliver have returned from successful training camps in the south island with their 365 athletes. Brad was at Mt Hutt with a bunch of keen Ski Racers and Oliver was at Cardrona with some hardy Freestylers who also had a chance to train at the Snowsports NZ compound! Join them as they bring you the latest updates, programs and training opportunities happening at Snowplanet.
Last week we ran a Freestyle Airbag Camp which was a huge success. Many athletes learnt new skills, developed old skills and added sweet new tricks to their bag of skills. This a great to see with the winter season almost upon us and competitions just ahead.
