We have the staff and facilities to make your next event a success. New Zealand’s only indoor snowdome has perfect packed powder snow conditions, all day, every day. So it’s no surprise that snow is the focus of our team activities. We’ve got skiing and snowboarding, snow tubing, and a range of fun team building games. We’ve also got a alpine style restaurant, complete with a fully stocked bar, and conference/meeting rooms for those who want to hold a planning session or need space for a private cocktail party.

Best of all we’re only 20 minutes from Auckland’s CBD with plenty of parking for cars and buses.

Fun Team Activities

At Snowplanet we’ve got a range of packages geared towards maximum fun. You can choose from the options on our Team Activities page, or you can just tell us how you want to mix and match any of the activities and we’ll come up with a package that’s just for you. You can just come for the restaurant – no snow involved. Or come only for the snow without using the restaurant. Or enjoy them together. 2 or 4 hours fun in the snow followed by dinner and drinks where you can relive all those moments over a beer or wine.

When it comes to fun on the snow you can’t beat skiing and snowboarding. We have a great slope for learners. We’ve also got a terrain park complete with jumps and rails for those who can already ski. Your package can include lessons from one of our qualified instructors or you can just let your staff free ski.

If you don’t want to learn to ski but still want to have fun in the snow, try our snow tubing package. It’s great fun and requires no skill. People of any fitness level can give it a go. You’ll have a blast racing each other or just get a thrill from trying a new activity.

Just remember to dress warm. If your staff don’t have appropriate clothing, we can rent you all the gear you need.

If your team don’t feel like frolicking in the snow, they can watch all the action while enjoying a drink by the fire in our restaurant.

Team Building

Add our snow games package to any activity or do it as a standalone activity. The games range from just good clean fun like snow jousting to more structured trust building games like our blindfolded obstacle course. Facilitated by trained ski instructors they are a great way to improve teamwork and build trust between your staff. Most of our corporate customers do this as well as tubing or skiing.

Combine a team building activity with a meeting.

We have a flexible meeting space that can be set up as two smaller rooms or one large space. We also have a private breakout lounge for your coffee breaks. Our restaurant makes a great flat white, and can offer an incredible selection of menus for lunch, dinner or morning and afternoon tea. The conference facility has all the amenities you need with a video/data projector, flat screen tv’s, whiteboards and an interactive panaboard, in-ceiling speakers, microphone for larger groups and ipod connectivity.

Best of all at Snowplanet you can break up the day with some really fun physical activity. You can add an hour of snow games or snow tubing in the middle of the day or end the day with some snow tubing followed by dinner and a drink or two.

Arrive late afternoon for a couple of hours of fun in the snow followed by dinner and drinks in the restaurant.

We’ve got a range of options to suit most budgets. You’ll give your team an evening they’ll never forget. Whether it’s a social club activity or an official company event, Snowplanet would love to host your team. The 7 Summits Restaurant and Bar can provide food for pretty much any taste, from finger food platters, cocktails, pizzas, a la carte dining, set menus, or a buffet. You can run a bar tab for your team, or ask your staff to order and pay for their own drinks at the bar. We’re confident you’ll have a great time. If you have some team members who prefer not to ski they can enjoy a mulled wine or a coffee next to the log fire while they watch all the action through the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the entire slope.
