I specialise in teaching all levels from first timers, those wanting to work on carving skills and adding those tricks to jumps and jibs in the park! I am dual qualified for skiing and snowboarding (NZSIA Level 1 Ski, Level 1 Snowboard, and Snowboard Children’s Teaching Certificate), and collecting more qualifications each year. I’m interested in learning new concepts and topics relating to sports and psychology. I teach mainly from a racing and technical background, so you can expect high quality lessons, designed for yourself or your child. I love working with all ages and abilities, and seeing everyone being more confident on the slopes.

I am a qualified NZSIA Level 1 Ski and Snowboard Instructor. I teach race on both and know the basics of freestyle, while also working towards more qualifications and I love teaching all ages how to ski or snowboard.

By interacting with students, I am committed to stimulating their enthusiasm and motivation and guiding them to achieve self-breakthroughs in the skiing process. The experience of participating in many trainings has enabled me to continuously expand my teaching ideas and use innovative methods and techniques to open up a new world of snowboarding for students. I believe that every student is unique, and my goal is to let everyone find their own style and fun in their snowboarding journey. Hello, I’m Allan. As a instructor who specializes in NZSIA Level 1 Ski and SBINZ Level 1 Snowboarding, I am committed to providing my students with safe and professional skiing experiences. I aim to help beginners experience both ski and snowboarding in order to discover their interests. In 2024, I also obtained a children’s snowboard teaching certificate and have been using personalized teaching methods to help my students progress continually. During the snow season in New Zealand, I frequently visit different snow resorts and am well aware of the excellent skiing and snowboarding destinations and resources here, which can offer my students a rich and diverse snow experience. Whether they are beginners or experienced snow sports enthusiasts, I am willing to share my knowledge and experience with them to explore the joys and challenges of skiing or snowboarding together.
