This lesson is for those who have never tried skiing or snowboarding. It includes rental equipment and a 2hr Snow Pass that gives you access to the beginner slope, where your 50 minute lesson will take place.

If you have any experience on skis or a snowboard, book a Next Step Progression Lesson here.

Pricing does not include rental clothing or gloves. These may be hired at an additional cost. We recommend you dress warmly as the temperature in the snow dome is minus 5 degrees.

Helmets are compulsory for all skiers and snowboarders in the Snow Dome. Lesson Packs include helmets.

In addition to all Snow Passes (included in Lesson Packs), you may also need a Snowplanet RFID card to access the lifts and ski mat in the Snow Dome. A deposit of $7 is charged for this RFID card. Please keep the card for future use or return it for a full refund.

Beginner Group Lesson

It’s my first time, I’ve never skied or snowboarded before.

Ideal for beginners, this program is for those wanting to experience skiing or snowboarding with expert support. Our qualified instructors show you how to put on and take off your equipment, stand up with confidence, move around safely, use the magic carpet, and master the basic techniques for stopping safely.

Suitable for those aged 7+ who have no prior experience

Group Lessons are are available on weekends only at 11:30am and 12:30pm. Dependent on availability. Bookings are essential.
