365 Schools Challenger Cup #1

The 365 Schools Challenger Cup Event will be taking place on 11th March! The facility will be closed until 12:00 PM for the race. At 12:00 PM, we’ll reopen with access to the northern slope while transitioning to the park. The park will remain closed until 2:00 PM for the event. It’s our first Freestyle event of the year! Come test your skills in the park this Saturday Feb 22nd at 4pm! There will be awesome spot prizes and medals for the winners. I am dual qualified for skiing and snowboarding (NZSIA Level 1 Ski, Level 1 Snowboard, and Snowboard Children’s Teaching Certificate), and collecting more qualifications each year. I’m interested in learning new concepts and topics relating to sports and psychology. I teach mainly from a racing and technical background, so you can expect high quality lessons, designed for yourself or your child. I love working with all ages and abilities, and seeing everyone being more confident on the slopes.

Hello I’m Vanessa. In 2022 I got into snowboarding after having a lesson with a very patient and helpful instructor. Since then I wanted to be an instructor as well and hope to share the joy I got from snowboarding with others. Through learning and training I have now become a SBINZ Level 1 snowboard instructor who can teach in three languages (Cantonese, English and Mandarin). I’m passionate for beginners and I am committed to help students improve in their riding skills and find the fun of this sport during their beginner stage.
