Freestyle Program

Please note: All athlete training programs with the exception of Rippers n’ Riders requires the athlete to be able to ski/snowboard confidently from the top of Snowplanet, perform linked turns and controlled stops. Minimum skill level required. Skiers must be able to ski parallel and display basic park skills. Snowboarders must be able to confidently link turns from the top on edge, and display basic park skills. Under 10 years old will require a Lesson with Program Lead Juliette Perera to approve riding ability.

In addition to all the athlete training prices below, you may also need a Snowplanet RFID card to access the lifts and ski mat in the Snow Dome. A deposit of $7 is charged for this RFID card. Please keep the card for future use (duration of the program) or return it for a full refund.

Helmets are compulsory for all skiers and snowboarders in the Snow Dome. If you do not have a helmet, you must hire one for $8.

Girls that Shred! Programs

Girls that shred is our girls only freestyle program.

This program is targeted at young female athletes aged 10 – 18 who want to progress their freestyle skiing or snowboarding in a positive and encouraging environment. Designed to build confidence and encourage like-minded girls to develop their skiing and snowboarding skills all while having fun. Whether you’re already competing in slopestyle competitions or are just beginning to hit the park this program is for you. For girls, coached by girls.

  • 9th May – 13th June
  • 1 hours and 30 minutes of training each week
  • Thursday (6:00pm – 7:30pm)

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Members include: Year, Flexi Year & Family Membership holders.
  • All fees must be paid prior to first session and are non-refundable.
  • Minimum numbers per program and groups apply.
  • Make up sessions only apply due to sickness or illness. Please contact michelle@snowplanet.co.nz to lodge a missed session.
  • Maximum of 2 make up sessions per term are allowed, with 1 carried over to the next term.
  • Photos and videos of your children might be taken during a session and used on Social Media, if you do not agree to this please contact michelle@snowplanet.co.nz
  • Snowplanet is not responsible for any injury that occurs during the use of our facility.
